Well, did you wake up to a wintery fairy land this morning?\u00a0 Here we are in our first week of Spring with a beautiful snowfall in March that puts January to shame.\u00a0 When I was a girl, my mother listened to the radio all the time while she was working around the house.\u00a0\u00a0 They played a different song for every month and here is March’s:<\/p>\n

March comes in like a lion,<\/p>\n

Old Man Winter’s gonna scram.<\/p>\n

Spring is on the way and that’s why we say,<\/p>\n

March goes out like a lamb.<\/p>\n

Great things are happening all month long<\/p>\n

on WKBV radio!<\/p>\n

March came in like a lion this year and now it is going out like a lion so I guess that old adage isn’t working this year.<\/p>\n

Some scenes from different windows from my house.\u00a0 It truly is beautiful and I kind of like it knowing we really don’t have any control over the weather and the seasons.\u00a0 Spring will come when it comes and Summer after and there isn’t a thing we can do about it.\u00a0 Last year at this time it was in the eighties, my Spring flowers had already bloomed and were almost gone and we really didn’t have a normal Spring.\u00a0 The days got hot fast and stayed hot for the Summer.\u00a0 I like this weather much better and hope Spring will come with mild weather and soft sunlit days.\u00a0 The flowers will bloom later and that’s all right.<\/p>\n

This makes me so glad we left these Christmas lights up in the crabapple tree.\u00a0 People driving by last night got a little light in the dark snowy weather.\u00a0 It was so pretty.\u00a0 When the crabapple blooms, I will turn the lights on again at night and I know it will be beautiful with lights shining through the blossoms.\u00a0.<\/p>\n

I am going to enjoy this day.\u00a0 Feed the birds.\u00a0 Play with the pets.\u00a0 Do some sewing. Bake some bread.\u00a0 Order some plants and fabric online.\u00a0 Yes, it’s a good day.\u00a0 Hope you have a wonderful day.\u00a0 Bye.<\/p>\n
