Here we are looking at June coming in a few days and I’m \u00a0wondering where my three favorite months went. \u00a0I love March, April and May. \u00a0They are the months that bring the first warm weather after the cold of winter. \u00a0Flowers appear again and everything turns green after a season of grays and browns. \u00a0My garden is blooming. \u00a0Here, let me show you a few of the flowers.<\/p>\n

A peony growing in my kitchen garden.<\/p>\n

A beautiful yellow iris. I love its bright orange center. \u00a0Is that the stamen? \u00a0I forget my flower parts.<\/p>\n

Peonies and Irises make good companion plants.<\/p>\n

I love salvia. \u00a0It’s a xeric plant and pretty much takes care of itself.<\/p>\n

This plant mysteriously appeared in the garden last summer. \u00a0I truly do not remember planting it and haven’t a clue what it is. Anyone know?<\/p>\n

It has this lacy, ferny foliage.<\/p>\n

Gorgeous. \u00a0There are thousands of different irises. \u00a0I have just a few, but each one is a work of art.<\/p>\n

They come in every hue and color. \u00a0I was looking at some in a catalog and some of their roots cost twenty and thirty dollars a piece. \u00a0I will stick with the less expensive ones. \u00a0They are just as pretty. \u00a0This one reminds me of a bright, beautiful sunset.<\/p>\n

Who’s that I see wandering in my flower beds?<\/p>\n

It’s my sweet Belle, here in her bed with her bear. \u00a0Such a spoiled pupper.<\/p>\n

My grandchildren were here this past weekend and one of them still likes taking walks with me. \u00a0I told him to look down as we walk because I always am finding things. \u00a0Keys, balls, flags, tools, money. \u00a0Well, he spotted something as we walked.<\/p>\n

He found this little screw driver laying by the side of the road.<\/p>\n

He was very proud that he found something. \u00a0This grandson is walking with me this Saturday in a Color Blaze 5K. \u00a0You get splashed with colors after every mile you complete. \u00a0We have to wear white. \u00a0I am so looking forward to it. \u00a0I love walking 5Ks and \u00a0no, I don’t run. \u00a0I use to run years ago, but my joints won’t take it anymore. \u00a0\"DSCN7963\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Have any of you seen this hose advertised on television? \u00a0Have any of you purchased one? \u00a0We bought one and I tried using it the other day and it squirted water all around the couplings. \u00a0It’s a piece of junk. \u00a0I might be able to use it as a jump rope.<\/p>\n

Ah, the fairies are coming into my yard. \u00a0They sit on these toadstools every night. I never can catch them, but I know they are here.<\/p>\n

The queen of the fairies sits here and reigns over her subjects.<\/p>\n

I hope your day is bright and sunny. \u00a0I have this sign outside my shop. \u00a0My cousin was visiting one day and it was raining and he said my sign was wrong. \u00a0I told him it’s always bright and sunny here. \u00a0Hope it is where you are today. \u00a0Bye.<\/p>\n
